Shock sizing help 😫

Evening all so I'm ready to upgrade my rear shock from a suntour to a fox float now I can see my rear shock is 184 x 44 and I've found a few deals on a 185 x 44 might sound stupid but would it fit? Being 1mm out? Or can i only fit a 184 x 44 fox shock only reason I ask is because I can see a few 185x44 on sale

The shock is only that length when it is unloaded, the rest of the time it is shorter than that. It will fit. Don't fit it with any pressure in it. Let us know how you get on.
