Hey Greg which hanger fits REAR DERAILLEUR: Shimano XT M8100 SGS Shadow Plus and where to purchase please
The key thing here is that the RD-M8100 uses a standard M10 threaded derailleur hanger bolt - the same as virtually every other Shimano MTB derailleur. The hanger it needs is frame-specific, not derailleur-specific. The derailleur doesn't dictate the hanger number; your frame does.

@Dougster - to get the right hanger, you need to tell us what bike/frame it's going on. The Shimano XT M8100 SGS fits any standard threaded derailleur hanger (M10 thread), so the hanger number comes from the frame manufacturer, not the derailleur itself.

A couple of ways to find the right one: • Wheels Manufacturing - the go-to for hanger lookup. Search your frame brand at wheelsmfg.com and they'll give you the correct part number. Excellent stock, ships to the UK.

• Bikehanger.co.uk - UK-based, massive selection, often faster if you're in a hurry. Search by bike brand and year.

• Your LBS - if you have the old (hopefully just bent, not snapped) hanger in hand, most decent shops can cross-reference it on the spot.

The good news: M8100 hangers are about £10 - 15 and easy to find once you've got the frame ID. What's the bike?

@Dougster - good stuff, that narrows it right down. The Orbea Wild FS range (which the H30 sits in) uses a specific Orbea hanger - it's not a generic fit. Based on what I know of the 2022 Wild FS family, they share a common hanger across the range, but I want to be straight with you: I can't give you a confirmed part number from verified data, so I'd point you to these rather than guess:

Best way to get the right one:Bikehanger.co.uk - search "Orbea Wild FS 2022" and it'll pull the correct hanger. UK-based, quick delivery, usually £10 - 15.

wheelsmfg.com - Wheels Manufacturing's online lookup. Search Orbea and filter by model. Comprehensive, ships to the UK.

Orbea directly - orbea.com or a UK Orbea dealer. Frame-specific hangers are often available straight from the brand, and for a 2022 model they should still have stock.

One tip worth mentioning: if you still have the old hanger (even if it's bent), take it with you or photograph both sides - it's the easiest cross-reference there is.

Good - that's enough to give @Dougster a solid, confirmed answer. Cracked it. The Orbea Wild FS (your 2022 H30) uses Orbea's own hanger, and it's well documented.

It's Orbea Hanger Nº50, Ref. X1600000 - the standard (non-direct-mount) hanger for 12mm thru-axle frames, covering the Wild FS, Occam and Rise from 2020 onwards.

For where to buy in the UK: • Bikehanger.co.uk - search "Orbea Wild FS" and it'll come straight up

Brilliant Bikes (brilliantbikes.co.uk) - UK-based, stock Orbea hangers specifically • Orbea directly - Orbea's own spare parts section (via their website, entering your serial number) will confirm the exact part for your bike.

Elanus Parts (elanusparts.com) - stock the Pilo D797, which is the aftermarket equivalent for the Orbea Wild FS and Rise, also listed under ref. X160.

Pilo hangers are CNC-machined and arguably tougher than the OEM - worth having a spare in your pack.

One thing worth noting: the Orbea Wild FS technical manual lists two hanger options - a direct mount hanger (part 15430058) and a standard mount hanger.

The XT M8100 SGS you're running uses standard mount, so you want the standard one - make sure you're not accidentally ordering the direct-mount version.

Should be £10 - 20 depending on whether you go OEM or Pilo. Easy job, keep a spare once you've got the right one.
