SHIMANO STEPS E7000 Wireless Computer vs E8000 Computer

Wondering if anyone has tried to upgrade their SHIMANO STEPS E7000 Cycle Computer with the newer E8000 version? Not sure if it's possible. VERY disappointed in the features of Etube app versus Specialized Mission Control app.
