Unanswered Shimano STEPS BT-E8035(non L) in a BT-E8036(BT-E8035-L) hole? Spacer?

So I may have goofed and bought a Shimano STEPS BT-E8035 for my Marin E2 that takes a BT-E8036(BT-E8035-L)... Anybody make/3dp a spacer to take up the gap? TIA

Nobody's done it??? Guess I'll start modelling... Figure I can 3dp a spacer and maybe add a strap to the inside of the frame to ensure it doesn't move around since it won't be 1 piece from bottom mount to top... Thoughts?

Have you done this? I know it’s an old thread, there may be hope for me as I’ve done the same thing
