Shimano rotors

it's time to renew my rotors. I'm on 1,6mm and i want to find the best offer for the right disk before 1,5mm
i'm happy with rt66 and metal icetech pads. Done 2000km and maybe i will do enough kms to feel satisfied at the end of their life.
someone has experienced rtXX than rt66 and is able to say if the change worths the extra money?
