Shimano on Scott more powerful?

The guys from theloamwolf tested a Scott and they said the Shimano feels more powerfull than in other ebikes. Have you tried the Shimano in other ebikes too? Is true? That’s all. Thanks.

It's subjective, but a brand can tune the shimano motor to have higher output in each level of assistance. You, the buyer, can get the shimano app and change them also.

Testing such differences would probably require a power meter on the rear wheel. That way you can move the wheel to different bikes (assuming they are the same size rear wheel)

I had a Scott & a Levo at the same time - to me the Scott felt it had a nicer default power spread. I only bought the Levo as I needed more range. Will be testing the new Scott with the Bosch motor shortly.
I think both the Shimano and Bosch have adaptive Trail mode which makes them feel different.
