When my motor kicks in, it's like a "notchy/catchy" sensation, almost feels like a bit of play in a loose crank (they're not). Is this normal? I don't remember feeling it when I first rode it. Ta

I know this sensation on my Decoy but is more pronounced in trail or boost. Are you in a higher gear when you feel this? I think proper cadence has to do with this happening or not. What you describe does not sound like a problem but a characteristic of the shimano motor.

Not sure, I've just noticed it more after about 60 miles of riding so far. Seem to feel it kick in at start of pedalling where I didn't notice it so much before.

When I got a new motor it wasn't as pronounced but after about 100k it's quite prenounced. It seems to be a shimano thing. As mentioned above if you keep your cadance up when it kicks in you don't notice it as much.

Thanks, I'll just keep beasting it then. If it does break at least we have a 2yr warranty on it ?
