For the 2nd time, the latch spring on my rear mech has 'bounced off' into undergrowth and I really don't want to spend another small fortune on a new rear mech for the sake of a small p**xy spring. I've managed to find a replacement but it doesn't have sufficient oompf to steer the derailleur arm in and out. The silver spring in the attachment is the one I'm referring to and which isn't up to the task unfortunately.
I can't believe I'm the only one to suffer with what I would call a design fault so....... has anyone else come up with a solution or is there an old rear mech out there that someone wants to get rid of?
