Hi all

I have a canyon spectral on CF 7 2023 model. I was riding the other day and the motor stopped working and also the control panel.

I have tried.taking out the battery, recharging but it's not working.

I have two green lights. One constant and the other flashing in green.

I assume the warranty will be good, just a pain to get to the authorised dealer.

Anyone aware of the issue and an easy home reset?

I’m having the same exact problem. My bike shuts off while riding and the battery led lights look just like yours. Did you ever find out the issue?

I've recently bought a Torque:ON with the same battery, if I rememeber theres a section in the user handbook that explains these Led codes

as to warranty, contact Canyon direct?

Rich.

I called Canyon a couple of days ago and they said the battery is serviced by Shimano. When Canyon upgraded to the EP801 in 2023 (I have a 2023 Spectral:On Cf8) they no longer produce the batteries themselves. Shimano is partnered with a 3rd party company called Trend Power who makes batteries for the Shimano EP801. So currently my bike is in the shop and they initiated a warranty claim with Shimano. I’ll update when I hear back.

Shimano still do 504/630 batteries but it`s also possible to manufacturers to use 3rd party batteries…which seems to have lot`s of problems. I have EP801 with Shimano 630 battery.

You are correct the manual does show some led patterns that indicate errors but unfortunately not the one we are experiencing.
