Shimano EP8 - E8000 compatibility

I have an Orange phase Mx with a Shimano EP8 system. Recently I have had condensation in the screen and it has stopped working all together. Unfortunately I don’t have the receipt to make a warranty claim only the build sheet.

A friend has managed to dig out on E8000 display however the use the old larger connectors. Any ideas on how I could get this to connect? they sell adapters but they appear to be the wrong way round in this instance.

The retailer should accept your monthly credit card bill as proof of purchase.

PS: I had some condensation on an e8000 screen (not as bad as yours) and I fixed it with a hairdryer.

Dig in for E-bike compatibility, that's the easiest way if you can fit parts in between.
