Hi, new to here but I'm looking for help.

I've found that the Shimano e-tube app will not connect to my phone anymore. Is anyone else finding this problem and is there a solution?

I've tried deleting my bike from the app as it was connecting before, now it won't even find it anymore. I've tried switching Bluetooth on and off, the bike on and off and also a different phone but no luck at all.

I'm on Android and I have the SC-E7000 unit.

Thanks
Graham

On my EP600 motor. I need to press the mode button once, on the bike, after turning on the App in the phone, before it will connect.

So turn bike on. Wait till booted up.
Open App in phone. Wait till connection status screen comes up.
Press mode button on bike to go from Eco to Trail Mode, or any Mode.
Then App connects.

Thanks, I'll give it a try.

Hi, this still doesn't work. Any other solutions oot there other than change from Shimano!!

Try a different phone to see if it's the phone or the bike. Turn the bike on. On the phone, Select "Pair New Device" . See if the bike comes up. My bike comes up like this. SWEN600 E3B.

If it's the bike then look at trying a new switch at the LBS before buying one.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I tried it on my tablet but still no luck, I'll try another phone though. My problem is when I search for a new bike it doesn't find anything 🤔

This is how I connect:

- Open E-tube
- Turn the bike on, wait a few seconds, not much
- Press connect on the E-tube app

note: In my case if I wait too long to connect after turning the bike on, the app will not find the bike

I just started having connection issues Dec 30th but only to my EP801, my E7000 no problems. As soon as try to change settings in the app not connected to the bike or it connects to the bike it crashes,, deleted the app, forgot device in Bluetooth and still crashes. If I log out of the app I can connect to my bike, very frustrating

Update-deleted my bike and re added it and it’s connecting again and am able to make changes in the app when it’s not connected top the bike. No ides why it started working again
