So, the fault began a few weeks ago when the battery wouldn’t turn on ….or so I thought, it was on …just needed a waggle in it casing 😂
It’s the wife’s bike so won’t be doing 25ft gap jumps etc so thought it would be fine to carry on..
After the ride I put the bike in the van and it wouldn’t turn off !

So I let it discharge , got home and put it on charge
Charger did its thing , no flashy lights etc

Unplugged the charger …tried to turn battery on…..nothing !

So I picked the battery in frustration and shook it ….lights came on …5 bars 😳

I’ve since took the shell off the battery and had a press about and it SEEMS to be the top left corner of the main board near the ribbon..
Push and hold the board and the on button and lights come on
Take pressure off , lights go out

I’m not happy enough to start taking things to bits anymore ( crap eyesight and non surgical hand precision!)
But is it the Baird or the connector and is it an easy fix ..?!?

Batteries are still expensive ! And if I can’t fix this bike she’ll want my spare Whyte 😳

Cheers in advance !
