Shimano Battery Issue (refused warranty claim) where do i stand?

Are you getting the range/elevation you’d expect from that battery? Mine has also died very quickly from going into the last bar, but on other rides it’s also lasted quite a long time too. The temperature will also have a huge impact to battery life and I doubt Shimano compensates for that.

So basically I’ve learned the battery gauge on the EP8 is useless and Shimano are generally useless at software.
