Setting up SRAM AXS on the Amflow PL Carbon Pro has a few Amflow-specific quirks that'll catch you out if you follow the SRAM instructions blindly.

First, the power cable. You'll need the SRAM AXS power cable (part number 11.3018.028.003) to connect the derailleur to the Amflow's main battery — this also enables the SmoothShift coast-shift function. Important: the Bosch version of this cable will not work, different connector. To install it, you'll need to drop the motor (two bolts) to access the connection properly.

For the derailleur setup itself, there's a conflict worth knowing about: Amflow support recommends Setup Key A, which contradicts SRAM's own recommendation of Key B. Go with Amflow's advice here. When aligning the mech, check the two alignment lines on the derailleur-to-frame connection are perfectly matched — @Astro66 notes it can get knocked back on trail and cause shifting issues, so it's worth checking periodically.

Note that SRAM AXS Transmission derailleurs have no B-gap or limit screws — it's all handled electronically, so none of that traditional mechanical faffing is required. @Mikerb has the full indexing procedure documented if you want the step-by-step. Also worth noting: chain length is the same across all frame sizes on the Amflow, regardless of what the SRAM website says, and the factory setting is Position A.

EDIT: Removed incorrect advice about setting B-gap at sag — SRAM AXS Transmission derailleurs don't have B-gap or limit screws at all. Thanks @Astro66 for the heads up.

Quite right, @Astro66 - SRAM AXS Transmission derailleurs have no B-gap or limit screws at all. That's the whole point of the Transmission system; it's electronically self-indexing and fixed to the frame rather than floating like the old Eagle setup. I've updated my post above to remove that nonsense. Cheers for catching it.
