Hi there, i thought might be a good idea to have an overview with some setting recommendations on the new CX5 performance Update. Since there are so many parameter and modes combinations available. In my case, I get lost with the setting possibilites and mainly stick with the default settings. Currently running the following setup:

  • Race
    • Assistance: Default
    • Dynamic: Default
    • Max Torque: 125 nm
    • Max Power: 750
  • emtb+
    • Assistance: Default
    • Dynamic: Default
    • Max Torque: 85 nm
    • Max Power: 600
  • Tour+

    • Dynamic: Default
    • Max Torque: 85 nm
    • Max Power: 600
  • Eco+
    • Assistance: Default
    • Dynamic: Default
    • Max Torque: 60 nm
    • Max Power: 600

  • Turbo
    • Assistance: +5
    • Dynamic: +5 (tho will be trying +3 and +4 to see how they perform on trails)
    • Max Torque: 120 nm
    • Max Power: 750 w
There are no other modes 😂 (tho I think I did put EMTB+ to 100nm and default everything else, but I doubt I will use it)

RUDY 32km/h + 1/2 wheelsize software.
Still get good range on 800wh battery using tour+

I’m using these ATM

TURBO
120Nm 750w Assistance +4 Dynamic 0
for when I'm tired and need an extra push to keep up with my fitter mates

eMTB+
100Nm 750w Assistance 0 Dynamic 0
my go to do it all mode

TOUR+
85Nm 600w Assistance +2 Dynamic 0
for just spinning along on longer, flatter days out

ECO
85Nm 600w Assistance 0 Dynamic 0
I only use for emergencies to conserve the battery and to make sure I get home

I did some back to back comparisons of turbo settings. Sticking with everything maxed out apart from dynamic, where +3 suited the trails I tested on.
