Hey - any tips on getting the seat to pop up better? I press all the way in and still it often does not pop up. This can be quite gnarly when I'm quickly heading towards a drop. I often have to stop the bike in order to avoid a bonzai situation!

Which seat post? Could be cable needs adjusting (if cable operated) although you haven't mentioned any issue with dropping it; or collar too tight, try assembling with carbon assembly post and lower torque, say 5Nm; or post needs some grease, in my X-Fusion one just unscrews the collar, lifts up the o-ring of its stated down cleans as much as possible and smears on some SRAM Butter.

clean/grease seems most likely. Mine gets done about once a week, I can tell when its starting to slow a bit now.

The torque setting is critical from what I've seen. No amount of adjustment by feel gets the right setting, too loose and the post will move about, too tight and it wont work. You must use a torque wrench. Perhaps thats just me though!

the other thing I found is if you try to lower it into the frame more, it gets caught up on motor cables and then wont work properly.

Put more air in it maybe ?

Thanks guys. Will give those suggestions a try. To be honest, I didn't even know that there was a torque setting. Noob here.

But don't you want your seatpost down on a drop? By the way specified torque is 5.1Nm/50ftlb although the seat collar is inscribed with 6.2Nm max. Only just spotted the former when I checked the User Manual. Battery mount is also 6.2Nm, surprisingly little. All for 2019 Levos on.
