Just wondering what sort of warranty there is with Roval wheels, or what it covers exactly. Was play so got freehub bearings replaced. Didn't sound right after putting it on. Had it off and on a few times still same. Last time removed the cap in picture was left inside cassette. Back together anyway but sounds rough as anything as if teeth inside wheel hub was damaged ?. Cap looks damaged this was the cap that no-one knew how to remove.

it would help folk to help you if you detailed what bike you have and what cassette and freehub combo. in the absence of any of that info the spare part in the photo looks like what should be in the freehub end that the end cap the clips into.

That damaged cap’s probably what chewed up internal hub teeth, from what I’ve seen. Not sure how strict Roval’s warranty is on user-disassembled hubs though.

I only removed freehub and sent it away. Dealer replaced bearings I reffited and still play so removed again and cap in pic was stuck inside cassette. I had been to three shops and neither could get the cap off.I ended up getting new hope wheels . Decided now I'm getting too old for doing some of the mechanical jobs myself. I just rounded a crank bolt by going wrong way . I have removed cranks many times before and never done that.
