Looking for advice from anyone who knows a little about these seat posts,
It’s been going on a while now but on rides the post starts dropping on its own,
It’s getting very annoying now.
Any ideas what I should be looking at?
Does it need a service?
Do I need to add air?
Vented it numerous times but doesn’t make a difference.
If a service is needed could you guys recommend anyone in the Lancashire area,
I tried in the past but no one would touch it due to the high value.
Any advice would be much appreciated
Thanks in advance

In reverb posts the pressure for extension is created via the pressure created when pushing the seat down. Might be that you have lost pressure or just had enough pressure in the main compartment, but now it is not enough. Just take the seat post out and on the bottom you have a valve that says 250PSI. You can pump it up with a shock pomp. Check if this solves your problem
from the manual:
Remove the air cap. With a shock pump,
pressurize the seatpost to the rider's total
weight (lb), including riding gear, times two.
Rider's total weight (lb) x 2 = Seatpost air
pressure (PSI)
Example: 200 lbs x 2 = 400 PSI
Minimum 200 PSI. Do not exceed 500 PSI.
Install the air cap finger tight.

Be aware that these post require regular maintenance see: https://www.servicearchive.sram.com...service_manual_2020_reverb_axs_a1_english.pdf
