Rail (625Wh) rims

hi....i have a rail 5 2022 i read in the specs that the wheel rims alex MD35 are tubeless compatible so went ahead and done them not new to doing tubeless set up...anyway done it all taped did not put sealant in first as i test out first and check for air str8 away hissing none from the tyre no punchers but air was ascaping from top rim edge where tyre bead seats but tyre was seated right so stripped all had a look at the rim and where the weld is theres the tinyest gap at edge of rim so not fully not welded ...what i want to no is can i do a warranty claim on the wheel rim bike is six weeks old

Use tape that is 3 to 4mm wider than the rim.

no its not that mate ...its the rim itself worried if its going to split apart at the weld joint

I wouldn't worry about a weld not being air tight - even pinned rims are still a thing.

I can't see it splitting apart
The way the spokes are, and the fitted tyre would stop such a thing happening usually.

I agree with these guys…..the sealant will fill the micro holes in the weld, have seen this before

Wife has a Rail 5 with MD35 rims - agree with what said above.
