I recently purchased a DJI Amflow PL Carbon Pro eMTB from the ronhack.com website. Under normal circumstances I would have purchased from a dealer, but Amflow does not yet have a dealer network in North America, and I really want this bike. I should note that this is my first experience ordering anything directly from China.

I am very pleased that the bike has arrived in perfect condition. Even the shipping box has no visible damage. The delivery process has many steps and did require patience. The bike had to be acquired from Amflow, then clear Chinese customs, get loaded into a sea container, loaded aboard ship, cross the ocean, then be transported by truck to my house in Indiana. It was actually fun to follow the ship as it crossed the ocean. Using the MarineTraffic app I could even see the names of the tugboats pulling the container ship into the Long Beach docks!

I am very impressed with the customer service provided by ronhack.com and want to specifically thank Klose Gao who answered my many questions with accuracy and politeness. I am an engineer and some of my questions were very technical. Therefore, for some questions, I decided to also ask Amflow tech support directly. I was very impressed that Klose Gao’s answer always matched Amflow’s.

I would definitely do business with ronhack.com again.

Glad it worked out for you. I'm guessing this was at least a couple months flow. How long did it take?

I to bought direct from china im in uk and still works out cheaper than 👍

I hope you are enjoying your new ride! If you don't mind me asking who delivered the bike to you? DHL,UPS,FEDEX? Mine will be leaving China this week and on it's way to me in the US.

In uk it was in the pallet network so artic lorry delivered it

I ordered one from Ronhack on 5/12 and am told typical shipment window to US is 6 -8 weeks which means late June to early July.

Gotcha. Makes sense considering, I assume your order was placed sometime December last year. My order was placed in April, about 8.5 weeks ago, I know now the delivery estimate on the website was optimistic.
Yes. I ordered mine Oct 28 last year. It was built early December. By far the longest delay was from the time it was built to getting it on the ship. I believe they were having trouble filling the container. Once it left the Chinese port it was at my house 2 weeks later. It arrived in perfect condition, not even a wrinkle or dent in the shipping box.

I purchased from Ronhack.com. I am very satisfied with the customer service. (I asked lots of questions!). Be prepared for a 90 day delivery time.

Gearsports,
Have you had it down to Brown County yet? There’s been a lot of trees down this year but they jump right on them as soon as possible. Would probably be a lot nicer lifting a Aamflow over the downed stuff than my Husky😉

I have been there. I used to suffer climbing Hesitation Point after running Hobbs Holllow. The Amflow has transformed Hesitation Point from a grind into a fun flow trail as the powerful motor gives me lots of momentum going uphill. I love it!

Arrived Today, finally, after 3 months and 1 week wait. Sadly Amflow went to a new owner only after 4 hours with me 🥺.

Bike Barn in AZ gets these, cheaper to. I did a deposit and waited 4 weeks

To anyone who purchased from Ronhack.
Was there any state sales tax charges?
Was there any import fees due after arriving in the US?
Finally was PayPal the only payment method availible, no CREDIT cards accepted?
Is there ANY warrenty coverage by distributors here in the US?

Looks like the PL is availible for $6,499 with a discount code of $400 additional for a total of $6,099 out the door.
My local shop is selling for $7,500 plus 7.75% sales tax here.
Thanks

Great questions, there are no dealers in my state so I may have to pick one up as well from Ronhack.

My purchase from Ron Hack had no sales tax or additional import fees. I paid via PayPal and can't comment regarding other options.

For me, the primary concern is that warranty is only effective through Ron Hack. The US Dealer network doesn't support my warranty because it was imported prior to the US launch . I would check with Amflow directly to make sure a bike imported from Ron Hack is warrantied in the US.

Fortunately after 6 months and 1000 miles my bike has performed flawlessly so warranty issues have not applied.

Yep Ronhack website responded back to my inquiry and confirmed that no sales or import fees would be due after original purchase.
They didn’t respond about being an authorized dealer or if another shop local to me would be able to honor the warranty.
It looks like their website is out of Colorado Springs is that correct or are they just using an address front for online traffic.
They are not listed on the Amflow website for authorized distributors that I saw.

$8,081.25 out the door local or $6,099.00 from Ronhack.
Thats 2 bills difference, 25%.

I think the additional $400 discount is for the month of Sept only.
Should hear back before the end of the month if Spec. will repair of replace my motor on my Gen 3 Levo.
I would probably swap over my 38 factory fork, carbon wheels and bars, seat also and sell the levo with a new motor and fork, wheels, bar etc.
Probably get maybe 4k for it.
We’ll see.
