Mine unfortunately didn't survive a meeting with my knee. I thought I'd find plenty of listings online for replacements, but I'm coming up empty. Has anyone bought, or can point me in the right direction for a replacement? Otherwise, suggestions for an alternative way of mounting would be marvellous. My current leccy tape + cable tie approach isn't the best. Cheers.

If you can't get on on line how about phoning the Shimano agents. Or Madison, who have been serving Shimano for decades. Or try this website:

Ta for that. Didn't think to do in my frustration, and my over-reliance on just buying stuff from listings! I've just emailed for now, but will probably put some calls in tomorrow.

There's a full display for sale on here in "bikes and parts" if you have no joy.
I did see that, ta v much, but it does seem like overkill buying the whole unit just for the crappy plastic clamp! Only last week a cable somehow caught the clamp for my GPS and sent the unit into long grass + mess of weed, never to be seen again. And this morning in a very slow-speed tumble, I kneed the 8000 display and it went flying into some bushes. I spent really quite a long time in those bushes searching for that display, so having to buy a whole other display would annoy me!

Why aren't all clamps metal?!?!

Plastic is cheap and light, and it doesn't hurt so much when your knee hits it! :)
Also, I guess, when the display gets a hit, the clamp breaks instead of the clamp, so its like a sacrificial item.
All probably true + sensible, but I'm two clamps + one GPS down in a week! And my knee still hurts quite badly!

I'm not actually awarding myself best answer ... @BikeTrailsAndWaggingTails very helpfully PM'd me with a couple of links.

Unfortunately the German site doesn't appear to be delivering to UK (but I thought I'd repost to be helpful to EU folk), and NZ delivery may take a while, but the second link did inform me that E8000 clamp = MT800 clamp, which lead me to ...

So problem solved! Ta v much @BikeTrailsAndWaggingTails !
