Hi all, been having problems with my rear hub. Their is play in the wheel bearings and the cassette has dug itself into the aluminium feehub body. Ive only done 900kms The bearings are proprietary bontragrager and must be ordered from trek and a new freehub body looks like its going to cost around 70 euros.

IMHO its a bit of a poor design, perhaps the extra motor power might warrant a steel freehub body and stronger bearings. Ive ordered a DT Swiss 350 hybrid hub which has both.

I thought forewarned is forearmed - i'll report back on the hub when ive got a few km's on it.
