Hi guys

Might be worth a check of your cable routing on the rear swing arm and add some protection.
I’m waiting for Whyte’s support view on this.

Spoke to the dealer and Whyte are replacing it.
Not sure how much of the rear we will get but Whyte have said they may take a few months to arrive.

More good service from Whyte and the LBS are not charging for the work.
Fantastic! Why not tell the world which LBS - they deserve it!

Just bought a new e150 and I'm concerned about this - the cable is clearly going to rub against the chainstay - is this normal? Do you just protect it with a sticker?

I've put a bit of tape under that hose. Noticed this very early on with my e160. Just keep an eye on it and replace it (the tape!) when it wears through.

mine is worn in the same way, i just hadn't got around to doing anything with it yet. going by your reply i feel i might aswell lodge a warranty claim

A warranty claim for paint run is a bit too far in my opinion. They are bikes and will get scratched and paint chips

Wasn’t James’s in Sheffield/Chesterfield that did the work was it coz I can’t recommend them enough, sorry I know this is quite an old post but I thought it quite pertinent
