I did (twice) a 2h ride, total of 42km 700m elev roundtrip before i went all out of capasity, riding mostly very fast singletrail (20-30kmh), and the climb was all on road (mostly just rolling down again). Alot done in trail mode, some eco, no boost. Brand new E8000, 504wh, gps measured numbers (strava).
Could have gotten 5km more in the end with careful use of eco instead of testing a climb again.
I`m 75kg ride ready, OK fit (200h+ cardio a year), and where pedaling pretty good all the way, 120-140bpm hrm.
That someone 40+kg heavier, on a different bike but same battery capasity climbs more than twice what i did on same distance, and leaves 30-40% capasity, just tells me there atleast has to be a big difference in how the ride`s where done and/or measured. Winds, average speed, how much the rider input is etc etc.
One bike/brand vs another might have 5-10% difference, but there is no way there is 40% ++ difference in efficency.
