Are there any tricks to removal the battery from the Rail? After unlocking the lock (turning 90 degrees clockwise) I can push in the top battery latch with a thin screwdriver, but the battery still doesn't release. I tried prying with some tire levers, but no go. I want to raise my dropper post and feed more housing through the frame.

After unlocking the battery should pop out of the right side a bit then depress the handle & pull it out.
Shouldn't need to pry it, it should come out easily.

Edit: this is for the previous Rails, new ones might be different.

On our 2022 alloy Rails after turning the key the top of the battery pops out a bit then you have to put your hand onto the top of the battery and depress the handle to get it out.

Sometimes, after the initial unlocking, I need to turn the key one more time before the battery completely releases.

Maybe because of a tight fit. 🤷🏼‍♂️
