Review: Was looking for a bigger 34t chainring to replace my stock 32t chainring, to increase my top speed for commuting on my specialized kenevo, to work and back.
The specialized steel chainrings were not available in bigger tooth counts, so looked for an alternative.
Bought this raceface alloy 34t one lightly used from a forum member, as a gamble, since people told me alloy chainrings wouldn't last on an ebike..
Installed it with no problem, except had to buy a set of chainring bolts, as the original steel chainring had female threads in it for the bolts to screw into...
Anyway... A year later, and over 1000km. Later its still working great! With no visible wear(see pics).
And the bonus is it weighs less than half the steel one did!
Also increased my cruising speed on the level, from around 30 kmh. To around 35kmh!
All in all. Verry happy with it.
