Post won’t hold

I was giving the bike a once over and decided I wanted to raise my seat by half an inch. Now the post won’t stay up. What happened? It’s a cube stereo btw.

You’ve likely pulled too much tension on the cable
you’ll have to feed some slack to allow post adjustment

Yeah I figured it out. I hadn’t noticed the cable comes out of the frame and back in again and it had pinched there. I was sat the other side of the bike pulling the battery tray out before I noticed!
