Classic US centric view of the world.

We don't have the same classification so either all the current EMTB motors are legal or they are all illegal (250w power)
We don't have Horses on mountain trails (they physically don't fit), btw I own 3 horses so I know.
We have a 25km/h restriction here, your funny horse example make me lough as they can easily sustain 35km/h and afaik they don't have breaks and are much more unpredictable than bikes.
We have most of the hikers here that climb better than a bike, are you real in claiming that hikers don't go on steep trails? It is one of the biggest sports and is called mountaineering, for your info the M on MTB stand for Mountain and not F for Flat)

Anyway we are derailing this thread is about a potential great bike.
he's from texas. no further comment :D

Ok guys.

It's bike time (or close).

Let's end the insults/ assumptions/ type casting/ power arguments and views from here.

Thanks and enjoy !
That will not end before it's launched in every country. Because I think they will have different power set ups for the countries.

you mean lets now talk about the important stuff. wich colour do i order...
I think i will go with Metallic Cobalt Blue (only one colour) as little decals as possible in metallic silver.

If you want to customize with MyO, be patient. I've heard that delivery times with MyO are going to be very long, around October, and it won't be available at launch.

For your reference, the M10, M-Team and M-LTD models in factory colors will not be available until August...

The stock colors are not really nice...

i was told 6 month... but even the stock colours will be end of the season.

with orbea you never know. could be 4 weeks could be 7 month.
I expect end of the year and be happy if it will be delivered early.

i hope my old wild will last until the new one is here.
and on a 14 k€+ bike i like to have the colour i want.

I'd likely wait for MyO. I find the bike is less expensive that way; plus it allows a unique colorway.

I agree with you all; if you're going to spend over €10,000 on a bike, you should at least choose the color you like.

In my case, I sold my old bike a month ago because I was going to buy a 2026 Wild M-Team, which had a 15-day delivery time, until I found out about the launch of the new Wild with Avinox and realized I had to wait.

I've chosen a purple M-Team that's supposed to arrive in August. I can't afford to be without a bike any longer; otherwise, I'd also wait and configure one with MyO.

I also chose the purple M-Team. But that's my colour of choice, so I'm getting what I want! I've also been told an August delivery. I may have also got to see one for real, in person. Just a sneak peak. It's pretty sweet looking. Can't wait!

If that's true, then it would be a total fail from Orbea. One of the biggest selling points of the Avinox system is its power and flexibility. Limiting it to 750W would make very little sense, especially considering the competition.
I agree with you πŸ’―! Orbea would be missing out on a lot of future sales for sure. I'm gonna be Switzerland here and not jump into the frey about the pro's and con's of implementing a 750w restriction. My opinion is irrelevant, but I definitely would NOT buy the new Wild if it has power restrictions.

I had a testride on the Velduro Rogue and all I can say is that I want this power of the Motor.
Do I need it, probably not. But there are some certain scenarios I want to have it. So if the Wild doesn't come full powered I opt-out.

Probably I will downtune it anyway and drive it with the power we heard here before, but for certain climbs or when I really have limited time I want the full power.

Only have 2 rides on my Avinox powered emtb after riding Bosch Gen 5 bikes over the last year or so.

One cool feature for the Avinox is the ability to create your own custom modes. I created one that lands between the factory settings for Trail and Boost that I plan to be the standard mode I do most of my riding in and use Boost when the going gets steep.

One consideration to keep in mind is the type of motors your riding buddies have. The majority of the guys I ride with are on Shimano EP8's and ride all boost/all the time. I normally rode in Trail Mode on my previous EP8/Bosch powred bikes, using Boost in certain occasions and kept up with them.

That metallic silver does look good.

No lol. Your local LBS should have access to the configurator for the new Wild. I was told it would take two to three weeks to get a custom frame colour, but that seemed optimistic to me.

If my previous Orbea orders are anything to go by, I'd say months rather than weeks. But maybe I've just had bad luck. πŸ˜„

i have 3 orbeas with individual collour. none looked like the colour in the configurator.

i think it is best to g to a dealer with some bikes and see the colours for real

Yes, that sounds very optimistic for a newly launched bike. With the current Wild, when customization was available through MyO, the delivery time for a MyO customized bike was a month and a half.

Considering the new Orbea Oiz, launched on the 4th, whose MyO customized bikes have a delivery time of 2 to 3 months, the Wild's delivery time will likely be similar or slightly longer.

In my case, having chosen a Wild M-Team in purple, whose color is the same as the purple of the new Oiz but in a glossy finish, it serves as a good reference to see images and videos of the Oiz to appreciate the color correctly.

I would not have imagined owning a purple bike, that is actually quite fetching! I will be dreaming of grape Popsicles now.

I met someone yesterday who’d specked a Wild in Tanzanite blue because they really liked that (stock) colour in the rise. His was so dark it looked black on most light. Nothing like the colour of my Rise side by side.

Pretty certain that what determines how quickly you receive your new Orbea is based on:

1) If they have it in stock. They will not have the Avinox Wild in stock yet.
2) When the next batch of that particular model is made. It seems to occur every 3-4 months as they cycle through each model in their lineup.

When I ordered my own Wild a few months back, and because it had a couple of custom items, I had to wait until the next batch of Wild frames were made. I could have ordered it 6 weeks later and would have likely received it at the exact same time.

I'm excited to see the new one and I do think that it will be the absolute top dog e-bike imo.
