Orbea x Avinox Rumours

Such a funny thing to say. What were people saying when Shimano dominated the market? "Not another shimano powered bike" ..... :ROFLMAO:
Shimano just outperformed all, and they still do, at their pace, and without Beta products.

Just named some brands, that from what I see and hear, have legions, not customers to defend the brand
I'm one of those that prefer an Android device (Samsung btw) over Apple, or prefer japanese cars/motorcycles (made in japan), not brand loyal customer (always had to pay for my stuff).

Apple continues to have nice features (I really like the cameras), but prefer a "downgraded" (as the "Applers" say) Android phone.
Avinox seems to be on this type of branding... Everything is great, until someone starts to notice things - rattle, power consumption at full power (LOL... like DAH!), etc...

but also a TQ100 since Eurobike is coming up???
I'd be really interested in a Wild with a TQ100. More so than an Avinox. I'm just hoping that since the Rallion RS came out with the TQ HPR40X that we'll see more TQ products from Orbea with their relationship with the motor manufacturer.

I'm streamlining my bike collection and plan to get rid of my 2022 Rise (loved that bike but hated the noisy EP8rs) and analog bikes and replace them with a super light weight, quiet XC orientated rig for local trails and an All-mountain/enduro rig for travels/big mountain stuff. I just picked up a Lauf eElja that I really like for the XC rig and have become a TQ convert. Now, I'm hoping we can get a more powerful, but still very natural version for the all-mountain rig. I can wait up to a year for that rig so hopefully, something will turn up before then....

TQ are doing a good job with their designs, they had some trouble in the past with their early models. However, the are doing all in house and also the final assembly by hand.
They are also partners with OHB a company designing orbital space equipment. They certainly have some good expertise with electric components.

I work in cyber security, I know more about them and how they are using data. Sorry, Mate to take your illusion...
Oh really, well I too work in that space but with a strong focus on cloud platforms, and you're right, the west have never partaken in cyber warfare or cyber espionage, it's just big old china...

Again, what is china going to do with knowledge of your DOB and name? or your browsing habit? Take out a loan?

You should move to China problem solved....

Sorry, no Chance!

I already have a Picture from the Wild with AVINOX!

it's data, meaning: individual data means nothing, group/society data means a lot.

btw, I turnoff flowapp (Bosch), because I don't want to share anything - nothing to hide, nothing to show, it's my decision.
Also Bike works just fine without any app gizmo.
On this, I'm with Alex Bike Tester: Bikes should work without apps.

Yesterday, the new Wild was presented to local shops in the Basque Country. They signed a confidentiality and embargo agreement.

The only information I've been able to glean is that it will be available with either an 800Wh or a 600Wh battery at the time of purchase

Looks that the frame has been specifically developed for the Avinox motor, and I've been told it's spectacular!

We'll know more around mid-June!

Off topic, but as you've been mentioning headset cable routing:

Apart from electric shifting and drop posts, to have a quick coupling on the rear brake hose like the one on the ABS would be fantastic!

Found this one as well

any pic???? dm me puhleaseee
Go to the nearest authorized Orbea dealer and try your luck there. As far as I’m aware, the bike is under embargo until the beginning of June. 🫣

P.S. I didn’t mean to come across as rude, but I know for a fact that everyone who has had access to or already seen the bike had to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and therefore cannot share any photos.

Apparently, it looks like that RS Orbea, the one with the TQ 40 motor. That's pretty much the best looking bike I've ever seen.

I asked Google Gemini to search for leaked images and got this ;)

There are currently no genuine leaked images of a 2027 Orbea Wild featuring an Avinox motor.

The internet is full of intense speculation regarding this bike, but here is what is actually going on behind the scenes:

The Source of the Rumors

The massive buzz about an "Avinox-powered Wild" stems from a mix of industry timing and aggressive community wish-lists. Avinox recently doubled down on its eMTB dominance by shifting its name from "DJI Avinox" to just Avinox and revealing its monstrous new M2 and M2S motors (pushing up to 150Nm of torque and 1,500W peak power).

Because the current Orbea Wild is heavily praised for its handling but uses the more conservative Bosch Performance Line CX system, massive forum chatter on Reddit and core eMTB sites has projected that Orbea will inevitably look to Avinox to break past Bosch's power ceiling. Rumors suggest Orbea might borrow the sleek, low-slung shock design language from their traditional enduro bike, the Rallon, to neatly house the slim Avinox battery ecosystem.

Watch Out for Concept Art & Clickbait

Any "leaked images" floating around on YouTube thumbnails or sketchy forum threads right now are highly likely to be artificial intelligence renders, Photoshop mashups of the Orbea Rallon, or images of other newly announced Avinox bikes. Since Avinox launched the M2 series, a wave of boutique brands (like Mondraker's new Zendit, Pivot's Shuttle AMP'd, and Rotwild's R. EXC) have revealed their builds. Scammers often use cropped photos of these real bikes to bait clicks for a fake Orbea leak.

Until an actual prototype is spotted in the wild or an official media embargo breaks, any image claiming to be the 2027 Avinox Orbea is a fake.
