Odd annoying rattle

Recently had a rattle on and off from the front of the bike. Last couple of rides it got quiet loud.
Today I started getting concerned that something was going to fall off. After checking the wheel axle and brake calliper was tight, Spent best part of an hour riding around the rough stuff with one hand on the bars and one hand trying to find the rattle!

Eventually found it..................................................



The top of my water bottle no longer fits properly and was rattling on the frame ?

The ole loose-water-bottle-cage. Drove me crazy for several rides. I did a similar search until the “ah-ha” moment. Tightened up the screws with blue locktite. No more 2:00am revaluations.
