Other Not mtb, but will Spesh upgrade the Vado SL to 1.2 ?

looking to buy a Spesh Vado Sl, I know the eMtb has the new 1.2 motor, but the current Vado SL has the old setup.

But I can’t find anything online to tell if / when the Spesh e commuters and hyrbids will get the new 1.2 setup.
Does anyone here have any insider knowledge of if this is even going to happen, or when?
What I’d rather not happen is buy the current one, then 2 months later the new model comes out with the new motor setup. As I just don’t have the funds or inclination to be serially upgrading a commuter bike., just to keep current.

Almost certainly. They will want to get the volume on the new motor. BUT, they may have a lot of 1.1 motors or complete Vado Sls that they need to shift first, and when they do switch you can bet the price will go up a lot. Maybe push hard for a really good deal (like less than half RRP)on the current one and you wont feel as bad if the 1.2 comes out at twice the price next month?
