Noisy Rise Motor

The wife's Rise motor is making noises. Sounds like a bearing or gears going out. This is a new noise, after a little more than 2 thousand miles of single track. Are these prone to being noisy, but still holding together for quite a while or should we just bite the bullet and replace the motor.

What is the motor ep8?
Not generally noisy .
My oldest ebike has a lot of kms on it.
Noises deceiving on bikes . I once thought I had a motor going it was a slighlty loose hollowness h crank arm.
Another time it was a shock that had dry seals
