No battery key....again..tut

So as per usual crc demo bike I have no battery charger or key for the battery. As some of you may have seen I've got a charger on order but what about the key?
I have no previous keys, no serial number and no manual. The box was non specific i.e it didn't have any e sommet bar codes etc
Have I really got to drill the lock? ? I did try my best lock picker impression with picks, allen keys, screwdrivers etc but I guess thats not going to be a future career choice if I want to eat ?

Lost key for Vitus E-sommet battery

Hey guys, iv just bought a pre-owned E-sommet but unfortunately the guy had lost the key to remove the battery. Can anyone shed any light on getting a new key/lock or whatever the process would be? Thanks in advance, Sam.

Pretty sure its a Shimano E8010 500wh, so yep.

So it should be an Abus key way. Can you post a picture of the key way?

Key way? Do you mean the hole??

No it’s an AXA key, the locking mechanism is made by AXA. If you contact them you may be able to figure out a way to get the right key. If not it will need to be drilled out, but the replacements aren’t expensive.

I reckon the lock could be jimmied quite easily
