Newbie with ridecontrol app issue

Hi guys and gals just bought a 2018 Giant Vall E + 2 which I ride to work down the canal what an awesome ride 7 miles of flat scenic path. When I connect the app to the bike the display on the bike just turns into a blank screen with 2 dashes going round in circles and the only way to stop it is remove the battery.

Take a look in the GIANT specific forum, I’ve seen other posts regarding issues with RC display. Get it to a GIANT dealer. Good luck
