I’ve had a rock rider hardtail for years and love it, however I’ve had back surgery and find the hardtail a bit rough on my back, at 60 I need to take it easy so I bought a cube One44 I’m picking it up next week and I can’t wait the full sus feel is going to be so relaxing after years of hardtail riding, luckily I don’t do anything technical it’s just explorer riding really but I get so much enjoyment out of riding that I’m planning on taking the cube a bit further away what does everyone reckon the range would be on casual riding back lanes and tracks

range is down to a lot of variables!
your weight is the biggest
then how much time spent in the highest Turbo setting going up hills.
if you have range anxiety - go on your planned routes but the first time in a lower power setting and see how much charge you have left at the end, and so on...
you probably have big knobbly tyres on your new bike
so it might be worth swapping them out for something a bit more XC to reduce the friction and battery use.
