Welcome to the forum
It was 11 years ago and I honestly don’t remember
But I do know there was a lot less choice then so it was much easier

Welcome to the forums.

No option for a test ride is tough. Gathering opinions of members here is probably a good idea. I think the most important consideration is local Bike Shop support. That can help your local economy also.

Welcome to the forum!

For me, local bike shop support and a removable battery were my highest priorities. Batteries don't like high temperatures and the desert has triple-digits for a least 4 months each year. I'm able to keep my battery in the house when the garage is 100*+. That is why I got a Specialized Levo. I also like a bike that is not black, white or grey which also reduces choices.

Yes, an easily removable battery was important for my son. He lives on the 14th floor of a condominium and can only charge the battery in his suite. His EMTB must be kept in the lower storage unit …no power.

My bikes live in my garage and the batteries are rarely removed. I don’t have to cope with triple digit temperatures …thank gawd 😢
