Hi Super Mex
Welcome to EMTB

I am a few more years older than you and an ex motorcycle rider as well.

My E bike is a city bike which suits me in the Australian sunshine.

After a year of riding and with 6100 km traveled my suggestion to you is take it easy. Let the young guys break their bones. I have “dropped it “ twice both times at very slow speed on an uneven surface.

Wait a sec…I could have avoided being a burden on our medical healthcare system? I’m gonna stop taking “Benjamin Buttons” pills and lay on my couch. 😉

Newbie here from Northern California, just purchased my first MTB at 58 yrs young after selling my Harley. My bike is a 2022 Turbo Levo Comp Aluminum.

Hope to learn and have many years of riding...
Welcome to the club, I bought my first mtb at 57, it was a manual alloy hardtail. I bought my first alloy full suss a year later, both 26ers. I bought my first emtb at 67, a carbon full suss 29er. Take some lessons in how to ride an mtb, it will increase your pleasure and reduce your injuries. (I'm passing on hard earned lessons here!) Ignore all comments that you are too old for an emtb, just get out and ride!
Note: emtbs are not motorbikes!

Welcome to the club. I'm 52 and I got back into Mountain biking from a 25 year absent. I rode my KTM 350xcf-w for that last 25 years.
