Hi, Bob here from NJ. I been riding my first real emtb, second ebike for about a year now. It's a Luna X2 non ludicrous model. Based on the Dengfu e10 and Bafang m600. I went that route mainly for cost. I would have settle for something less powerful that fits within level 1 rules but the nearest major brands I was comparing with at the time were more money for far less bike.
I enjoy trail riding; but I'm not a particularly fit rider. One of the reasons I have tried to make this my main hobby is to help with fitness. I found with an analogue mtb everywhere I ride in my area is nothing but hills so I feel like emtb and ebiking gets me far longer sessions without losing motivation.
If anyone else is from north west jersey I'm also open to suggestions on good trail suggestions.
