Two New eBikes from Cannondale

Double trouble, the new Cannondale Moterra comes in two flavours – the Moterra and Moterra LT – both sporting the latest Bosch CX motor, with the aim of competing with the best electric mountain bikes on the market.

The LT version seems pretty good.
Any idea or review that speaks a little bit about how does it ride but as well if 800w can be used for long trip ?

Also the new gen 5 Bosch CX will rumored to be updated in July through software to I think 800 watts.
I'll still keep my 1 year old Moterra One but these look good. Mines been trouble free.

Full 29er, Bosch with removable battery
Quite a big jump from size L to XL.

Im new to this so i ask out of ignorance, what is the negative on the stem routing?
I also ask because I have a Moterra 1 that has exactly that. Lol
Some people don't like it because it's hard to route the cables through and in some cases when replacing cables they can get pinch by things like the bottom bracket and stuck when you try to pull them out so you have to pull the bottom bracket.
Ebike, not an issue on that one but still gets crowded in there.

Hideous stem and placement of the screen. Reminds me of when car designers just slap an iPad somewhere on the dashboard and call it a day.

Why didn't they go for the new screen integration?

In their marketing it says that it's 1kg lighter than the previous model. Previous model was over 26kg in size large so we're expecting it to still be above 25kg? It's got a coil, removable battery etc that add weight but being above 25kg for a carbon bike seems like a lot.

Disappointed there's no option to retrofit a top tube screen either.

Regardless, the spec is killer and if it rides well it will be a contender for me for sure.

Had it a few weeks, made some changes to set up and gone for a 600lb spring over the factory 400lb. I have also changed the tyres since this picture because the front one is not to my liking at all!

I previously had the Moterra 2 2020 and couldnt fault it, given the increase in travel to the LT its rides much the same and I have no complaints 4 weeks in!

hey hey, congratulations on such a nice bike!
Can you say more now after the time has passed on the trails?
What is the frame size and its real weight?
How does it compare to your previous e-bike experience, if any?

IMO we should get rid of internal cable routing altogether. Useless feature.

Nice looking bike!

Just picked mine up and very impressed so far. Any niggles you've had to work through yet?

It feels like the battery cover is quite loose so might look at padding it out a bit to stop vibrations.

Will post a bigger update once I've had a few rides.
