New bike, new member.

Hi all

Just bought a Merida one sixty e and absolutely love it. Fortunate enough to live in north Manchester(Bury) so plenty of trails for me to ride.

Would post a pic of the bike but it seems to be taking ages to upload then stop on 14%???

Done a few mods. Renthal pedals, stem and bars. I work for Renthal so I’m flying the flag for them.

I too have a Merida eOne Sixty. Bloody marvellous bike!
I've had it since new when I bought it in May'21. It has performed perfectly. No issues at all, just wear and tear on the usual components. It has the original Shimano EP8 and battery. No problems there either. All still original spec.

They may have fixed this, but check the shock mounting bolts. MIne kept coming loose, until I blue Loctited the threads.

Thanks for the tip regarding the shock mounts. Haven’t ridden it in anger properly yet.

Just the one ride so far. Im a fair weather person for outdoor pursuits and the Mrs doesn’t want me bringing a dirty bike through the house

I do love a good Renthal Fatbar. Just wish they did one with cable routing like OneUp & BBB do.
