Battery died on my 2023 Trek Fuel EX-e. LBS diagnosed faulty battery and ordered warranty replacement which TQ agreed to.
LBS swapped a battery in from their own stock to get the bike working .

Put on charge as it was low - charged up to 90% then no further. So, it didn’t reach 100% when it presumably would have stopped charging and the display shut down as it used to.

Now the bike works fine, normal modes of assist - but - the display shows 90% for a while, then flickers between 80% and 90% before settling down on 80%. Then the same thing on down through 70%, 60%, etc. So it doesn’t show the declining charge by 1% decrements.

Anybody have any ideas? I did carry out a reset but no change

Will be doing, their TQ techy is on holiday this week
TQ doesn’t replay any technical questions by Email. I ask them 2-3 times about main battery and range extender battery charging and discharging procedures by Email but no Email received from them Yet. It is funny they mention in the manual that range extender must be connected to main plug permanently and Range extender is discharging first then switch to main and in charging it is vise versa.the Main battery charged first then switch to charge the range extender. But it looks to be vise versa to increase the life of both batteries .

also happened to me, but since I don't use battery % from display v1, but only the bars, I realized It increase 1 bar mid ride. Not sure if my old firmware version have anything to do.
