My Reign E starts when I unplug the charger and restarts by itself when i shut it off

When i plug in the charger it shuts off, when I unplug the the charger it starts by itself. if I shut it off it restarts by its self, if I unplug the charger with the off button pushed it stays off, but when i start it it works properly until i shut it off then it restarts its self. anyone else have this kind of problem?

Not the same problem, but we have a Cube 625 Bosch and Trek 500 Bosch bikes. I’ve noticed post charging that, often, but not always, either will startup when you pull the charger out. But they turn off fine. I’m interested to know why sometimes starts, sometimes stays off?

Has it recently been wet? This sounds like water ingress into the ride control unit or at the connector where the ride control plugs into the harness. Seem like I read many similar reports in 2019 with the trance.

Yes it has. I pulled the motor out to get at all the plugs and found one of the small red plugs did not have the seal in the bottom.
Does anyone know if Dielectric grease can be used in Giant plugs to stop water ingress???

I greased and then taped mine up with PVC electrical tape. No serious issue since.
