Battery check time.......preferably before you start! Maybe I'll just have a dip in the loch or perhaps not as the car temperature showed 3 on the way.:eek:

Recently found this tread. I really love to see where people are riding.
Here’s a couple of pictures from this past week. This is from one of my favourites riding area. Called Jumpingpound Ridge and Cox Hill in trailforks. Lots of blowdowns this year.
Cheers

The hazards of mountain biking number one.
The hazard for today was just a bit unusual…….

The hazards of mountain biking number two. There are basically three ways of onward progress.
1) Cross the shoogly (VERY) bridge. Not advisable with a heavy E bike
2) There is a long section of signal track but it ends in a bog. No thanks
3) Cross the ford. Didn’t bike across as it’s loose shingle……Fair chance of a dook with my “expertise” BUT I did cross pushing the bike. Wet feet but soon dried with the heat.

The bridge looks more fun!
good pics

For those who know the Loch Pattack area the shoogly bridge is no more [If you don’t know the bridge see my pics in Aug. 2022] The aforesaid bridge has been replaced by something that would probably take a tank so any overweight bikers should be OK
