mud pit solutions??

Anyone have a good idea about stopping the mud and shite collecting around the rear shock? This is my only niggle with the design of the bike ... e-sommet

The rrp front mudguard fits nicely on the back and I made a cover from a piece of rubber to cover the area around the shock which at the moment is taped on with Gorilla tape until I can be bothered to sort a neater solution
