I'm a "plus size" (hey that's what the models call it) size 38" and 115kg so I'm after some "comfy" MTB shorts. Does anyone know of any brands who do elastic waist (ahem comfy) MTB shorts? I've tried google but didn't have much luck. There seems to be a million options for nice snug button up 32" 34" etc. Any help appreciated.

Endura do some great shorts in larger waist sizes for us bigger lads. They do thin and heavy weight models so great for winter shorts as well. I wear their 38" and they have loads of room in them.

You can always just use a padded bike short under any old baggy shorts you want. I use both bike specific and non bike baggies, and there isn't much difference except in price.

The Endura Humvee shorts are definitely worth looking at, they are a real world cut, and super comfy. They come with a removable padded liner too

You'd be ok in POC size XL or Ground Effect XL - I'm a 40" waist and 125kg and both of those fit well.

I am 116kg and Endura Humvee ll are perfect. I bought the XXXL when I was 127kg but since getting my Giant Trance, I have lost a heap of weight.
Might have to look at a pair of XXL soon as I continue to lose weight.
