I have a 11 spd SLX group on my orbea kemen suv ebike. I'm wondering if I could use a Linkguide chain and cassette with the SLX rear derailleur and shifter or do I need to use all the Linkguide components together to get the full benefits of the Linkguide system?

Thanks

Yes to the chain as I believe it’s the same as any 11 speed, you can certainly use an 11 on the groupset.

I don’t believe the cassette is compatible as I believe the thickness of the rings and spacing is different. You can buy items from the cues groupset which is also linkglide.

bananna industries have shifters and mechs at very reasonable prices and you can buy a cues wide range 11 speed cassette as well. I would replace what you’ve got with new system parts as I’ve found it to be everything they’ve claimed and especially good at changing up whilst peddling, the overrun used to crunch my old xt stuff horribly. This changes at a set gate smoothly but slightly slower.

Im heard the same, that you cant mix um so im going to switch everything over to link guide b/c the shifting of the regular slx mtb group is pretty bad.
