It was HOT today so I went for Turbo (which I rarely use) to get a nice breeze without working hard. In Turbo the assist cuts on and off if I am not really pushing it so I slowly raised my speed to see where Turbo stayed on. It was right at the point where the assist cuts off for maximum speed, 20 mph! As long as I stayed at that speed I got assist, faster or slower the assist shut off.
A note: in my case it is actually 18+ mph because I have 27.5" wheels and have not taken my SL to the LBS to get the wheel size reset, one day...
