Massive Protest in Ottawa, Canadian Style

I’ve never seen anything like it. Both the RCMP and protesters were singing our national anthem …very loudly! The protesters were ready for a road hockey game and the police we armed with flyers (yah, letter sized paper). For 3 weeks our capital was shut-down. Both sides were captured on video shoveling snow… with plastic shovels! (wtf). It would have taken me over 178+days to ride my bike there so I couldn’t go. Everyone is upset …Jimmy is really upset.

Now this could turn into a really bad snowball fight. They’ve dropped the gloves.

This is a statue of Terry Fox erected in Ottawa. Terry was from my town of Port Coquitlam and passed away to cancer while he was running across Canada. He had previously lost one leg to cancer but decided to raise awareness and funds for cancer and started to run across Canada. He didn’t make it.
