m560 / m510 with 14s/52v battery

it's hard to get answer in other threads so i decided to start new dedicated to this topic
can anyone tell me if i can connect m560/510 to 14s battery without issues ? and on stock 48v firmware ?
main goal is to have more energy in smaller frame but second benefit would be that we get full power for longer

Yes You can use 48V firmware with 14s battery. Bare in mind that over voltage warning kicks in above 58.4V, and charger is 58.8V (just in case You can open it and adjust the OP voltage a little).

hey . so far i tried 510 and Yes. works no problem with 14s . shows 70% of battery with 30% of real capacity left so it will drain it empty without limiting power i expect

You might be unlucky. I've blown not one but two controllers on my FC2.1 M510 on a 13S battery, coincidentally or not, the first one happened just after forgetting to disconnect the charger and with the battery fully charged at 54.something V. Ordered a new one (slow boat from China) and it lasted 30 seconds before failing in the same way. System turns on immediately battery is connected (no buttons pressed) then the battery icon blinks on display, then error 30, then restarts again and repeats. Display is not at fault because it powers on similarly without it. I won't be using Bafang electronics again.
