Would anyone still consider the M1 version with a decent discount? Or does the new revised versions make this now a poor purchase?

Have seen a few with 1000 off retail. Still makes it 1000 more than the new base PR though. Can’t really work out where a new M1 PL should be priced at now.

Of course. It's a great bike and nothing changed that. It has AMPLE power, handles incredibly well, and depending on the build, better components than the new ones.

The thing that makes the new PR a consideration is the announced range extender. For the PL it looks like nothing will come and Avinox even made sure that third party solutions don't work since the last bike firmware.

I have no issues getting 30-40 miles out of the 800wh battery in the PL. I'm sure I could get more but I like to go fast!

I have the M1 in a PL Pro. I have ordered a M2S in a 180/180 Enduro. I won't be getting rid of the PL Pro. At just over 20kgs, it's the best climbing bike you can get, with huge range.

I would want a 20% discount on the PL Pro. And a 15% discount on the STD PL. Or I would get a new M2S Amflow.

The reference I would use is when second hand Amflow PL bikes come to the market. It should be an indication of the "demand / supply" equation.

I just bought a new base PL for $5700. Which was such a good deal in my opinion. Moved over my high end parts and wheels from the Levo3. I’ll prolly upgrade to the PX when they start rolling in much later than expected in the USA, I’m guessing. This will hold me over and I’ll just do another parts swap and resell the PL and the delta will be my true cost. My local shop gives NICA coaches 25% off.

Simple answer is yes. I bought my PL Pro in January knowing that the new frames & motors were coming out and don't regret it for a second. There are lots of haters about the PL geometry and to an 'expert', some of the comments may be correct - as an amateur with mid skills and mid fitness, I find it brill to ride and much better than previous bikes. Motor wise, I have auto set at 75nm/600W and trail at 85nm/750W and very rarely use boost. Did 35km with 1,100m ascent over the weekend and still had 35% battery left at the end - from everything I have read, M2/M2S will eat through battery if you use the full 'power' available.

edit - when in boost mode, 120nm/1000W is really tricky to control so heavens knows what 150nm/1500W is like !
